Audrey was Baptized today!!!!

It was A W E S O M E ! ! ! I am sooooo Proud of my child. She made the decision (probably a year ago) to accept Jesus into her life, and I talked to her then about getting Baptized. I also didn't want her to do it because I OVERLY suggested it, but because she felt moved by the Lord to do so. I have left it alone all this time, trusting in the Lord. Sure enough, last Sunday Audrey and I were sitting in church (Travis was sleeping because he was working nights, and for some reason they didnt have KidsStuff that day) and they were talking about Baptism, and Audrey looked up at me and told me that she wanted to do it. I was so excited!!! I went and told Pastor David Bryan after the service, and he was excited to. Of course he had to meet with her before Sunday (today) to make sure that she really knew what she was doing. So, Friday, Travis, Riley, Audrey and I all went to Wife Saver and met with David. And he asked her if she remembered praying and asking Jesus to come into her heart. This is something I often times wondered if she remembered myself. To my surprise, she remembered the moment, and where we were (laying in her bed). It truely moved me. As a parent, when you pray that prayer with your kids its hard to trust that it was real. I made certain that I wasnt ever going to MAKE any of my kids pray and ask Jesus into their hearts just because I wanted them to be saved. I have taught them, to the best of my abilities, and prayed for them. But I am also very much aware of the fact that becoming a Christian is a matter of the heart, and NO ONE can judge what is in your heart. (except the Lord of course). Saying all that; It meant the world to me to finally KNOW for sure, that when I prayed that prayer of salvation with her, that it was true and real. A W E S O M E F E E L I N G !!! I am sooooo proud of my daughter for her wonderful decision to follow Christ, and thank you to everyone who was there supporting her..........I will try to post pics of her getting 'Dunk'd', But I will probably have to get them from Jen, cause Im not sure how to get them from my camera to my computer!!!! ;-)

My First Time.....

Well Im COMPLETELY new at this whole 'blog' thing. But it seems like it could be fun so here we go. I am 24 (almost 25), married to a WONDERFUL man named Travis, and I have two very beautiful daughters; Audrey just turned 8 in June and Riley will be 5 in November. I love Jesus, and I go to TrueNorth Church in Columbia County. I am a member of the Journey Land team at church (the preschool kids and younger) and I absolutely love working with them and being a part of their lives. I am living with a Fybromyalgia (FMS or FM). For those of you who arent familiar it is a chronic pain and fatigue disorder. I have good days and I have bad days. For the most part FM SUCKS!!! I love every minute of my marriage and being a mother. Its more than I could have wished for. Life gets really overwhelming and I forget EVERYTHING. But I am who I am and I have the best friends a girl could ask for and the most wonderful family. I look forward to posting more blogs and pictures of my family. For now, I guess that's it.
